I noticed that she adds carrots and other veggies to things and doesn't seem to cook them long enough. For the most part though, I use recipes as a guide unless it's something i know nothing about so I've had success with her recipes. It always seems that she skips on flavors where it's needed and ads it when it's not, like the chiken stock.
